Thanks for the great shots! So how come the fenders don't look like little apples??? Sorry could not resist!!!
Phew, lucky they didn't drop a stern line in the water. How would you retrieve one if you missed the dock with a first throw on a rough night? Those are going straight around the props.
Hi All Here are some not so photos of a few yachts i took during the season. A few are in Ibiza and the rest is around Mallorca. All these ones were taken in Port Adriano
beatles rule I assume the owners have their inspiration from the same song.... after all isn't all the yachts are toys for big boys!
I suppose you are referring to this one....I like that one as well....much classier than that 'big iron'
Hi, Maybe the manufacturers bought their resin in a job lot and the only way for the manufacturers to guarantee no yellowing from UV exposure was to pre colour it.
Got sick of the bad weather in northern Germany and relocated myself for the next future (at least this season) to Mallorca. Here are some shots I made today in Port Adriano and at the Port of Palma. Porto Portals: The moorings are pretty booked but the center area with the restaurants and shops are very quiet. Some restaurants just opened for the first time this year. 1. Lady Anastasia 2. Heesen Black Noire 3. Blue Eye 4. Leander G. from a close look, a very well maintained Charter yacht. Looks almost as new and ready for the charter season.
High Power III 1. High Power III, former Numptia. I caught her at Fassmer yard in northern Germany a few weeks ago, now in Mallorca for the season to serve her new (Swiss) owner. 2. A nice Dutch vintage sailing yacht. A real beauty. Will get more details later. 3. A larger Nordhavn, ready for departure. Left Adriano a few minutes later. Except for the odd black stripes all over the boat, a nice looking vessel.
From Palma 1. Moonen 94 ft Alu yacht "Nilo" 2. Moonen 100 ft Explorer, both yachts are for sale. 3. Do not know, need help on that vessel. 4. A Palmer Johnson, just entering harbour.
