In my kitchen the floor is wood slot , during the seaon some times there is a little water or dampness on the floor right in front of the fridge , but the boat has been shrink wrapped for 3 months and I have no power to the fridge and now I have a little dampness on the floor again is it maybe water collecting on the windshield above galley? No water in bilge, but there is some in the storage dampness bags so I know it's in the air a little moisture . Any body have the same style boat with windshield above kitchen having similar issues . Thankyou .
Was the fridge completely defrosted all the way when hauled out. There are a couple trays in the Norcold that you have that will hold water for a while and let it go.. Mine has done this too on my 370. I dry down the fridge/freezer as best I can removing all of the trays including the one on the top of the fridge that collects the water and then leave a damp rid bag in there with a towel shoved in the bottom of the fridge before I close it almost all the way leaivng a small gap for air circulation.
Sounds like condensation on the coils. You've got cold coils under a windshiled acting as a magnifying glass. Do you have a cover on the windshield or at least a curtain. If not that may cure your problem. You could also put a UV film on the glass if you don't want to cover it. P.S. you could have this problem with anything not sufficiently drained with the weather we've been having. Water pipes or those coils will be real cold with the night temps, especially during the cold snap we had a week or two ago, but we've also had a lot of sun and warm temps.
My '98 355 has the same problem with moisture on the galley floor in front of the fridge. It is a problem with condensation from the fridge and probably a few ice cubes that spilled out of the fridge. The wood floor has buckled some and gets worse when the AC is off and humidity is high. I live in FL.
You might be OK on GSB, but otherwise that would be a real concern. I'd be more inclined to go with wood, a linoleum product or probably the best and easiest would be one of those artificial teak products.
