It only took about a dozen years, but pleasure boats over 65' are no longer subject to the Longshore & Harbor Workers highway robbery.

It may not seem like much - unless you are one of the ones who have shelled the $$$ out over the years - but every little competitive edge at the bottom line helps.

You'll have fewer people looking for jobs and more people hiring if prices fall very far, meaning that you'll still have to pay if you want to be selective.

There is a real shortage of one armed economists.

Thank you for posting that info. The LHWCA has been an unnecessary cost for years in yacht building, and it is good to see it go. We will likely see less 64' 11" boats built to just slide under the 65' rule.
