Just yesterday, the hull for the latest OceAnco project in their newbuild portfolio arrived at the Alblasserdam finishing facility. The Y-707 is a 87-meter long sleek design with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The keel laying and contruction for this new vessel was commenced in July 2008. She is expected to be completed in 2011.

Anybody with any news on the Y-707? She should be soon ready to launch? She's been in the shed for really long!

Indeed very nice, you can not see it in the picture posted by YN, but Oceanco already added the mast after she has been transfered out of the shed.
    Looks Good!

She was motored out to sea (or at least past the "erasmus"-bridge) late last night. Afraid I can't seem to get the (poor quality) shot sorted.

No, she was not out to sea, yes she was passing the Erasmusbridge heading for the drydock in Schiedam where the ponton with 707 on it could lower her in the water. Midday today, she came back at oceAnco's. She will stay at least 6 to 8 weeks until she is ready for take off

I'm wondering if this is the new Anastasia - the 75 meter Oceanco built in 2008. From what I can see, she has some very similar and unique similarities such as the wood transom and trim along the gunwale. Also, if you study the lines, they are vaguely similar.

You have a point you know. Her name plate is covered up so you really can't tell much as to what the name is. She really is very similar to the Y703 ("Anastasia")...check out our review for your self.

I thought I read somewhere that this is what Anastasia was supposed to loo like but the owner had her shortened down. I am just curious if she will make her way onto the charter market, of course.

One thing I forgot to add when I put this there, you can look out for "Nirvana's" delivery next month (April).

Funny enough, a few days ago, I browsed right over those but didn't think they were brand new tenders for a new build.
