Why bother making a new skylounge mold for Riviera's 53' sportfish, when the mold from Riviera's 70' skylounge will work perfectly.

They realized further savings by not adding a 'hook' to the foredeck crane which would have completed "the look".
Even Fexas would have rolled his eyes...

    Same-Same!
    The image is a Maritimo.
This is a Barry-Cotter boat. He created/owned Riviera before a management buyout gave him a BIG lot of capital and for some reason, a BAD taste in his mouth toward the same people who bought him out at Riviera!
When he started Maritimo, he went for the bigger boat buyers of Riviera, which many believe helped send Riviera to the wall.
Soon Riviera’s started to look like Maritimo!
    Coincidence?
BTW, some call these the marine “Pope mobile”!

This was being towed to it's dock space at Gold coast marina. There are quite a few of these in Hong Kong that people live on. Most of them have a single small diesel for moving around.

This one has it all: elegant, flowing lines and a sublime paint scheme.

Here's a combination boat/guard tower. Not sure why the tugs are pulling in the opposite direction. Maybe to make it longer?:D

She's actually a tug herself, built by Bay Shipbuilding Co. in Sturgeon Bay, WI (also home to Palmer Johnson). When coupled with the notched stern of the barge Pathfinder, it looks slightly less goofy.

Built like a brick shiP house-UBITW contender

Built like a brick shit house.jpg This boat was zipping down the ICW blasting Bob Marley so I guess they have better things to do than put fresh mortar on the old brick.
