Bud just rolled her out the 1st week of May...some significant exterior changes from the last 64.. And yes....Bud and crew are alive and well in the same location with a number of boats in process. Along with developing the waterfront property across the street for a new paint shop, launch facility, yacht storage and public-use area.
Dry Stacker? Are you referring to the exhaust system or the laminate schedule? I do not see an exhaust pipe between the radar arches.
It's nice to see them producing boats........ I'm not familiar with the 64', but have been on the 76' more than a few times and it's a nice boat.
Dennis was referring to the exhaust which has not been installed as yet up top-side..... He'd simply noticed that it wasn't present on the hull. Stay tuned right here for additional pictures as progress continues on this new vessel...
It's a beautiful vessel and must be huge inside with the full beam midship salon. I like the pilothouse access to the midship door port, preserving interior and minimising weather deck area behind the bulwarks. And what a hull shape. I will have to drive by and take a look in Anacortes this week. Keep us posted. Thanks Alaskan
If you would like to know more about Aquila just ask. By the way it is not dry stack. The mast section is fabricated from 316 ss bead blasted finish, no paint required.
Don't know what to think about the design, it looks like a cross between the Goodtime III, a CHB trawler, and something out of Dutch Harbor.
