105' aluminum(?) classic yacht. I think its beautiful but it has an odd layout and seems unusual. http://newimages.**************/2/1/3/5/4/2135423_15.jpg?1281476692000 http://www.**************/boats/1960/Custom-105-Motoryacht-Rebuilt-2008-2135423/Greece
Hi, Send an e mail with a photo to here: post@fmvas.no This is the yard that is credited with the original 1960 building of it. They might be able to tell you what she started life as, they are not necessarily the ones who did the conversion work but might know who did. The Main Engines listed for it are certainly good old dears.
I think there is more useful info on her here; http://www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=yacht-charter&charter=dauntless-5304
Very interesting boat. Lived for quite awhile under the shed at Bradford in FLL. I believe she had something to do with Canada at some point. Also pretty sure she is steel not Alu. I was aboard back in late 2004. Engine room was very scary at that time. However the inside was really neat!
Interesting boat with no doubt a storied past. However, what is amazing more than interesting is her value expectations. $3.9 mil USD for a 1960 105’ ??? Such would indicate an astonishing market recovery.
