Hi, Welcome to YF. Majorie Morningstar (the Amels one anyway) was last spotted according to Google in Port Angeles on it's way to Alaska on 30 May 2010. I had a look on Marine Traffic to see if it showed up on AIS but didn't get lucky with that system.
She is going to KHUTZE according Marine Traffic Call Sign: ZCNJ7 IMO: 1007940, MMSI: 319438000 Ship details are wrong, but seems not already updated there. 47 days last info received. either she sunk or not turned on since then. Latitude / Longitude: 52.2557˚ / -128.3706˚ Another link found in google says she was built in Japan? Is that right?
Hi, As I said above I could not find the AMELS one of this name and neither could you. You have the old Japanese built one in that AIS Result. Also the result you posted was updated 47 Days ago so isn't very current. Voyage Related Info (Last Received) Draught: 3.2 m Destination: KHUTZE ETA: 2010-09-06 18:00 Info Received: 2010-06-09 17:14 (47d, 1h 10min 14s ago) Here is the one they are asking about from 10 days ago in BC http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...RJORIE+MORNINGSTAR&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbs=isch:1
Sorry the links moderators. It is just to help the guys. Beg comprehension to this fact ! I know I promissed not to do. My fault. oh thanks, I saw that in Monaco Eye as well, but then maybe both sunk or AIS turned off being in some abandoned port or in refit, who knows... Have you tried Vassel tracker or Digital-Seas as well? things got so bored here when Palladium & Eclipse all covered again in closed Docks 5 & 12 that we see go looking those things... unbelivevible. But trying help the guy, nothing more to do in those weak times. Anyway this is more precise: http://www.digital-seas.com/?id=69&nc=1 1. MARJORIE MORNINGSTAR IMO 1007940 MMSI 319438000 CALL: ZCNJ7 Current: New Bella Bella, CA Flag: Cayman Islands Vesseltype: pleasure craft 2. MARJORIE MORNINGSTAR - MMSI 310256000 CALL: ZCA14 Amels Current: Seattle, US Flag: Bermuda Vesseltype: pleasure craft
Hi, That is a good site to find vessels , thanks for posting it. Unfortunately neither of the results is very current. The Cayman registered one is most recent giving a date of 2010-06-09
Thanks, I know, I mean 'current' for site cause details of both are extrem poor there as well. For example for one has Length 10m Width 10m, impossible, none port tracks, none pics, so nothing.... But another option. So we conclude they sunk, right? Who knows if the guy, the unique interested in those yachts to update those info.
Yacht Marjorie Morningstar Sighted We've been in port at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, USVI last weekend and now on a mooring ball at the Bight on Norman Island, BVI with the Marjorie Morningstar. She's a Beauty!!
Sorry for the late posting. Saw MM pulling into Nantucket Harbor in early July 2011 while I was on a photo shoot. Of course had to take a few pics.
