I was a little late going live with our first review for 2011. The pictures supplied required considerable time in P-Shop. For the interior shots, it was mostly a lighting issue, but in the case of the exterior shots, it was the Skylounge in the background trying to upstage the subject of our latest review, the Horizon 80' catamaran. Here's one of the original shots with the skylounge sticking its schnoz into the picture...
Good! Duplicating spray (or digital drops) is the holy grail in P-Shop. 2nd to that feat is seamlessly blending waves or windchop. I spent about an hour getting this file acceptable at 800 pixels, but a larger file would show some truly pathetic pixel placement. For reference, the upper right corner of the chopped pic had the bow of the skylounge nudging its way into the frame. If you look closely, you can see the difference in wave color and pattern near the port bow of the cat.
That is true...but Carl...it's not noticable to those who don't notice and for further notice, it is an interesting thing.
It looks like a pending near miss, or at least enough to get some alarms going off. Great job in creating it!!
