I did a google search... for some reason couldn't find the boat, but found other errr interesting things.

It looks like Ron Holland and a little like Campai from Southern Winds, but found nothing on their websites...

While she looks new, it was a complete refit. Basically new everything except the hull. This was done here in Fort Lauderdale. I'll look into her former name and post it if I can find it in the documents.

Lars... I was just googling Ron Holland ... Same, nothing... I have a feeling this boat got renamed "miniskirt". Cheers

She was formally Chardonnay C. I'll let the rest dig up her past. I have been on board and she looks great both inside and out. Her engine room has been completely redone with new mains and gens.

all the reconstructive surgery on this Holland Design was done in FTLAU by ARES MARINE. Ares is one of the last companies that actually does what they say they will do and MORE.

I am having them do my 56' Magnum right now, and there isn't any detail too small that doesn't get its appropriate attention. Maybe i will post some pics here....

If her name is Miniskirt, then i am very curious how her tenders are called.........

Sounds like they will do a better job than Magnum did in the first place.

I had a lot to do with 56-002 and was far from impressed by the original build.

Looks very like a Ron Holland designed yacht originally-built by Oyster Marine in UK 20-30m sized yachts) with whom the designer once had an agreement.

The design of this particular sailboat does not go back to the early 1960s when the miniskirt was ostensibly invented by Mary Quant or at least became fashionable. But many America's Cup yachts over the past few decades also used "miniskirts" to hide their lower appendages (totally contraire to the objectives of the original miniskirts).

But what, we might all well ask, does the S/Y Miniskirt hide compared to other miniskirts? In both circumstances, you'd best take a big breath before "going under" to more closely examine the appendages. Beware of fouling of all types...
