Dear AMG, I wanted to thank you again explicitly for that tip of yours. I check the website every day and can only confirm that it shows the real thing. Today, I was lucky enough to spend 1.5 hours besides Pelorus. What a stunning vessel! Love it.
Yes Olli, it is nice to be able to see "around the corner" sometimes. Both at sea and when we are land based and curious on new arrivals... This AIS picture is over the Stockholm Archipelago at this late hour, where tracking other ships is of great help for the helmsman before he can get them on the radar.
Here is a nice Webcam located in Mortola. It is a small village high up at the border between France and Italy. You can see Menton, Roquebrune Cap Martin, Monaco, Cap d'Ail, Cap Ferrat, Cap d'Antibes and all the way to the Esterel Mountains and St Tropez! It is a Hi Res camera and if you click on the Live View, it will take a few seconds to focus. Hope you enjoy it! Mortola Webcam - French Riviera / Cote d'Azur
The Mortola Webcam was hit by lightning a couple of months ago, but is now in service again. Mortola Webcam - French Riviera / Cote d'Azur
