Production at full swing at Feadship yards

The 65-meter (214') Feadship "Trident" has only just left the drydock at Feadship/Royal Van Lent shipyard several weeks ago and her place is already taken by the hull of the 78-meter (256') project BN802.

All drydocks and slipways at the three Feadship yards are occupied with projects ranging from 39-meters (128') SL39 and 45-meters (147') F45 Vantage full custom yachts with lengths from 55-meters (180') to 88-meter (288). In addition to this there is also a refit project on the 1995, 52-meter (171') Feadship "Pegasus".

    65 M "Pestifer" launched

Feadship launched their latest yacht, 65-meter "Pestifer". Built by the De Vries section of Feadship, the 214.50-foot yacht should be the successor to the 1998 CRN built 49.75-meter Pestifer now named "Pestifer L". The new Pestifer is hull number 680.

"Blue Moon" joins the charter market with Northrop and Johnson. She is a favourite of mine for some reason at least in the Feadship range.

Any news on the progress and launching date of the next F45? News has been quiet about these vessels.

Apparently, the F45 that I was inquiring about a few days ago was launched earlier this year but is sitting at the yard waiting to be sold and delivered shortly there after.

Also Feadship have revamped their website to make it slightly more user friendly. The URL remains the same.

Additionally, Feadship has launched a new 68-meter yacht called "Lady Christine", obviously the successor to the OceAnco "Lady Christine".

    Hi,

You might find that the Oceanco yacht about this size was or is called Lady Christina. The Owner is English.

I would say by the look of this that the Scottish Owner of this new Feadship is the same guy who campaigns a sailing boat and if my memory serves me correctly had a Helicopter incident last year in the US where the machine ended up in the water.

Here is some newspaper comment about it. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5969095/Lord-in-helicopter-crash.html

There is a Lady Christina and a Lady Christine. This new Feadship is a replacement for the Oceanco Lady Chritine. Her owner is a "Lord". Very similar styling to the Oceanco. She is quite attractive IMO.

Excellent work Arubananne. Many thanks for these photos! Interesting the sculpted nature of the removable rails on the aft sun deck which should be a helipad.

Remember to keep an eye on Project "Ansgar" which is in-build by Feadship for launch in 2011. She is a 62-meter Royal De Vries... Of course any other information is welcomed.
