So I guess this brings me from being a "Senior Member" to an "Over The Hill Old Fogey Member" with a big mouth. Thanks to everyone for helping to keep me informed. Hopefully I've helped a few along the way myself.

Wooden mega sailing yacht "Mikhail S Vorontsov" is still moored in Amsterdam for almost 2 years now........does anybody know why?

I certainly have enjoyed the knowledge you've shared with the many Posters here...including me. I would like to aspire to a 1,000 posts, but I'm going to bet even money that I'll get kicked off the Forum prior to reaching anywhere near your number! Wooden Boats? They are still being built. I was in Dubai recently to look at a Dhow that's under construction. That one is about 100' in length. The other project I looked at is in the 130' range. They still have a way to go before completion.
