Meet "Heather IV". Even with all the Super-Yachts of the past decade, this lady is still lovely.

This was "Lazy-K". Doesn't look very lazy in this shot. I'd guess she's doing better than 30 knots.

This is "Old Profile". Could it have been one of the very first Browards Mr. Dennison built? Can you guess the year?

  17. The Careless Babe was owned by Bob Maytag, and captained by my dad, Danny Abbott, and Johnny Harms, in 1960-62. Maytag died of pneumonia in March 1962 at age 38. Boat was donated to University of Miami and piloted there from San Diego through the Canal. I still have a framed photo of the Babe, complete with her little 1910(?) Oldsmobile strapped on top, in which they would motor around the various ports of call. She was 85' long.

  18. owner?

Is this the Williams boat docked at their home on the Miami River in late 50s/early 60s?

Say hello to Lady Helen. Named after my mom. Dad still has her.

She started as a 1983 72' and underwent a major refit and extension after my parents bought her in 1999. Totally new look but she still has the classic lines. Still undergoes upgrades and updates.

The first owner was Barbara Mandrell and her name was "Lady Encore".

Looking for any information on a 1973 Broward yacht. She started out as Evon. Later Karajan which was my Grandfathers yacht. Now I heard she might be called Excel. Curious to know what happened to her. Any information is greatly appreciated.
