A new bow has been seen out in the open and it is for a secret build by Feadship that is supposed to measure above 140-meters. The delivery time from now should be around 2029. The bow section is large measuring an approximate 30-meters alone. Image by Ruben Griffioen.
Is it gonna be built on Feadship's own yards? I read somewhere that due to the narrow canals, it was very hard for dutch yacht builders to build that big. But the country do have some enourmous commercial vessels, so maybe i was fooled! Looking forward to see their take on 140m+ luxury yachts.
I posted this in the Feadship News thread...so it should answer your query. It appears that a massive 160-meter building hall has started construction at Greenport Rotterdam. Feadship is expected to be the launch client for the building hall. This hall will allow Feadship to build superyachts in excess of 100-meters. Dimensions of the building hall include a length of 160-meters, with a 45-meter width and a height of 49-meters. The new building hall is being developed by HEBO. As said before Feadship is going to be the first to use the construction hall when it is completed. Work started last month and is expected to be completed 3.5 months into 2026.
