All the roof forward of the mast is now removed so that is all needed from above to be removed.

I zoomed in on the image and while it is not an ideal angle, it would appear from what can be seen is a pair of main retractable stabilizers for underway ops and what appears to be two pairs of smaller fins maybe for stabilzation at anchor?

I changed the link and posted a bigger pic...she has 4 fixed fins for sure and then...those huge retractable stabilizers. I can't figure out if they are Maglift or just something like the SKF retractable fin stabilizers type Z.
I wonder what would be the point of installing a pair of stabilizer fins like these, considering there are already four fixed ones... Maglift would make much more sense, as it can be used at anchor.

I know they are retractable....'supposed' was because, as I already said, I struggle with the idea that they could be 2 additional fins and not maglift. I've never seen a yacht with 6 fins.

The large, long fins would be Denny Brown retractable's and are used for extended underway cruising / crossings and they don't have zero speed capabilities while at anchor like the smaller fins would. Maybe the Maglift are there to complement the smaller fins for zero speed on such a top heavy vessel. I'm curious as to the tankage plan for ballast, fuel and technical water on such a tall vessel.

She doesn’t seem that tall for the length. Kismet or Renaissance come to mind as being significantly more top heavy.

If you look closely on the middle of the helipad...you can see a motif, looks like a DOLPHIN.... Miami Dolphins?

It’s a Marlin. Owner is the same as Golden Odyssey.

In September 2024 "Golden Odyssey" was listed for sale as her Chinese owner has been awaiting delivery of his new Lurssen yacht. Right so that is why G.O was at the MYS24 'last minute'.
