Something new has technically launched for Feadship. It is the 100.7-meter Project 1013 and seen hitting the water at the Zwijnenburg facility. It is expected to be towed to Makkum so outfitting can begin.
It looks very much like Moonrise design wise. But to move from 99.5M to 100.7M is insanity (this is just hypothetically).
Totally agree on the insanity! I'd say they're definitely sister ships if nothing else. Aside from the actual render of the design, they have an almost identical shell door arrangement based on Moonrise's photos vs 1013's transport pictures / videos. Also very similar styling cues on the transom/swim platform, aft overhangs, and bridge wings... If not a new Moonrise, there must be a link between the owners for it to be quite so similar!
If this is the same owner, they must just enjoy the build process. It isn't even to say, 1013 has greater volume within the same 100M LOA. 1013 is supposed to be 4,000 GT while "Moonrise" is 3,945 GT.
I think this may be the first application where we see starlink dishes installed flush on the upper surfaces, Providing those are the dishes and not just access hatches... you won't see them from the sides....clean lines. Additionally, I do not see a main pool in the usual places...perhaps a pool in the beach club? Finally, who is Phil?
I think Phil...Phil Walsh is...or maybe we have to assume...was...the Captain of Moonrise. https://fr.linkedin.com/in/phil-walsh-81720567
