    I have a 1990 48MY Ocean Yacht with 6-71 Detroit Diesels. The mufflers are fiber-glassed to the hull. The port muffler is leaking in many locations and I would like to replace it. I don't think it will be hard getting it out.

    The input is on top side and output is midway down on the opposite side. It's about 18" in diameter and 28" tall, with 8" ports.

    I wiped off most of the salt stains in the picture, it was far worse.

    Any Idea where I can get a replacement? cost?

    You can contact OA directly and ask them. Probably Centek made them.

    Not an official fix but has worked for us on many repairs;
    We grind down lightly to a good surface and epoxy/glass over these worn/burnt out spots and keep going.

    Thanks, repair/recover/patch is a much less costly route. BTW it's an Ocean Yachts, made in New Jersey. They are long gone. I think Viking bought them just for their facility and location, and promptly discontinued the line.

    What a brain fart. Sorry about that.
    Was thinking over an old Ocean Alexander project and speed read your post.
    Centek probably still made the muffler.
