For those who may not have been aware....the SS "United States" left Philadelphia’s Delaware River yesterday, February 19, 2025. It is heading to Mobile, Alabama to be prepared to be sunk as an artificial reef, sad that such a big piece of U.S maritime history could not have been preserved.

Here's one that's a stretch for your imagination:

I had a Central Listing on the SS United States! Way back in 1998. I didn't sell her in the first 90 days so the owner (M.C.) cancelled my listing. But he sent me a beautiful framed portrait of her and in my downsizing, I gave it to my maritime attorney when I discovered he was a SS US aficionado.

    Ouch, was it too big?
My photo sizing info said it was only 132kb, the limit is still 1.3mb?

No worries! Pixel size and file size are different measurements. Resolution plays a big role in file size. We try to keep pics under 800 pixels wide in landscape and 600 pixels wide in portrait. Because bandwidth isn’t as big an issue in recent years we’ve relaxed our guidelines on image sizes.
