Just got through watching The Blue Angels documentary on Prime... highly recommend, 100% worth the time to sit down and enjoy. I wish I'd been able to get to see it on an IMAX screen as intended.
Yup. I watched the same Blue Angels documentary 2 days ago, highly recommended and very impressive. (Glad my tax money are going to folks who perform and work hard, occasionally)
Nutty YouTube kid bought a 70’ Broward… I don’t watch any of the YouTube “watch me I did this, that crap”, but this link popped up somewhere in my inbox, maybe because he started with an Albin. Almost like a slow moving train reck, I can’t stop watching..
He's as bad as the Naughty-styles woman, I gave up after 10 minutes of nothing but him repeating how crazy everything was...
I managed to watch the whole thing, assisted by adult beverages of course: He managed to do a short sea trial and did ok maneuvering the old “Luxury Yacht”, but I was waiting for one or both engines to give up the ghost from overheating, clogged filters or whatnot. He does have more guts than me, I wouldn’t have touched that old tub with a 10’ long pole.
After we moved to North Florida 2 years ago, we came back to Fort Lauderdale for a few days of R&R this week. Borrowed a small boat from one of my buddies and went up the New River. The Yamaha outboard stopped doing its thing exactly across from LMC: Lauderdale Marine Center. Deployed the little anchor and called for a tow. Good view, good breeze and a nice day, despite the Towboat US tow picking me up after 1;45 hrs. 4-5 boats went by each direction, only 1 Captain asked if I needed help.. Not impressed.
Looks good, we are actually planning to do a cruise this year and we are on the Ritz Carlton mailing list as well as Viking’s and Regent’s, decisions, decisions..
AI, or real? (No lifelines or railings, weird rigging on the whisker pole, no anchor roller, I vote NOT real.)
Well, AI is taking over the world so it better figure out how to make a boat reflection in a simulated swimming pool.
