    You did not mention Garmin.

I really don't think anybody makes a bad N2K cable.

    But let me ramble on;
The original SimNet cables are "push to fit" vs a true screw on connect.
However, Navico/Simrad does sell true N2K cables also.

All of the N2K connector blocks (Ts) look different but work all the same, well.
So you can really mix/match all of these vendors and not have any issues.

    Of note; wire gauge..
There are different wire sizes to consider when planning your N2K layout.
The above vendors offer different wire sizes also.
At near twice the money, I use the heavy wire gauge on all of my backbone installs.
Then pending the length of the drops, either heavy or light gauge wires for these drops.

So many of these newer instruments draw all of their power from the backbone.
For example, I have 2 x Simrad AP heads, 4 IS20 displays, wind-vane, SimNet-AP remote, N2K - NMEA183 converter, N2K depth sounder that all are powered by the backbone.
I think the , N2K - ST and , N2K - ST2 converters are powered by my backbone also. These are also intermixed SimNet cables with left-over N2K cables/connects from my shop.

This is small stuff as on other boats, tank levels, gateways, and more are powered by this backbone or even split power backbones by these tiny cables.

    I'm done rambling.

Fill us in on what your installing.

I buy Ancor brand from Amazon, have not had any issues for many years now.

Heads-up, I read recently that Raymarine will be moving away from their proprietary STNG connectors to the more industry standard DeviceNet/screw and plug connectors. That's great news, their proprietary cables are ridiculously expensive.

I have the Ray/N2K converter bars rite behind our E120s.
The rest on Bertie is SimNet and N2k.
The only reason I'm still using the E120 is my 10KW/6' array.
Piles of hot spares in my shop. The rest of our Bert is Simrad.

I'm just not in a hurry to chase down a big Simrad pedistal. None of witch I'm impressed with or can afford Simrad spares.

    Anybody need E120s or Pathfinder 4 & 10KW, 4 & 6' arrays, cables??

Patients and Pendings have long expired. I'll have to hunt, there are companies out there making cost reduced Ray cables.
Just Google the Ray cable part number, these companies will come up.
