So that's what those weird shaped holes in the big boats sides are for; Holding your RIB.
    Genius..

Looks like someone added a rib to that cage. Can anyone identify the manufacturer of the yacht? Looks Sunseekerish?

According to several reports that have emerged on social media earlier today, a tender has crashed into the side of a 38m Custom Line yacht in Ibiza.

If windows in the hull conjure up questions about structural integrity, this looks like a good argument.

How fast was the RIB going to penetrate the hull that badly?

Didn’t this exact thing happen like 10 years ago to another custom line?

I would have laid a cash bet that this was a recycled photo!

It is a Custom Line...and this is a photo from an old incident unless the same thing happened to the same boat in the same spot.

And that is what it looked like inside the cabin after the crash. A pretty big mess.

I believe that there is more work to do than just cleanup and inserting a new window. Btw. the crash happened already 2016.

Rumor says the RIB was doing 30 knots for 15 minutes after the operator fell off and with no safety
Lanyard/kill switch the boat went in circles until it hit the Custom Line on a perfect bull’s eye through the low slung window.
