It is easy to retrofit the technology, but nearly impossible to fix bad design.

Worst part of bad design is docking alongside of it.

Nice to see picture of Go Fourth
She was built 1978 and was 92’ long
I took her up and down the Welland Canal for ten years as she came from Florida to the Great Lakes every summer.
Captain Ted was a great Captain.
She was sold a few years ago and went to west coast

I don’t believe this one is a Burger but didn’t want to start a new thread. Moderator please relocate at your discretion. The name of the boat is Pintail

Wow....Cindy....I think I walked her in the early 90's and was tempted. Terrific canvas for a nice outcome.

Oh yes, the lines and the varnish. I am looking for a picture of the yacht Hartline once owned Mary Hartline.

Thnx for the pics! I’m the lucky new caretaker of “Cindy”. She was in the same family for 40 years in the Great Lakes. Upon recent purchase, “Cindy” completed the nearly 3000 mile journey from Chagrin Falls to Miami, Fl on her original Detroit 6-71s. She is a 1951 steel 53’ Burger. She was originally launched as “Delores” per photos on the Burger website.

Congratulations and welcome to the Burger family. Take good care of her, and she’ll take excellent care of you. S&S designed some terrific vessels for Burger owners during that period. Mine is a Hargrave, but the builder of all of them produced a very high quality and thoughtful product.

I sure would assume so. Dad bought Flying Tiger of the same generation and lines.

Here is what I believe to be a Burger docked in Wrightsville Beach for Thanksgiving.
