    Hi We purchased a 2019 Galeon 640 fly in June, although it was not new it was never used as a charter and was operated by a full-time captain. What we have found about the Galeons is getting work done can be a challenge, we have slider problems from the get go and still not repaired, same with the air conditioner .. it seems like small things but getting the galeon specialists to actually come out and complete a repair is extremely frustrating and feels near impossible. We have both said that should we in the future change boats we will research which repair company is suggested by the manufacturer and see how readily they are to come and work on the boat... Perhaps as years go by more companies will gain knowledge of this brand of boat but right now it is pretty scarce for some reason.

    This seventeen meter Euro class has some interesting options in this moment.

    You can go for the just arrived Squadron 58 (debuting September 2023 in Southampton), to the four years plus produced Princess F55 and or Sunseeker 55 Manhattan.
    If you want IPS you can also look at the new Absolute 56 another 2023 debut (like the Galeon and Fairline), and the meter smaller (LOA of 16 meters) for the Azimut 53 Fly.
    Other options if you go a meter bigger at eighteen meters is the new Ferretti 580, and or Azimut 60.

    The Fairline Squadron 58 is the most similar to the Galeon 560 Fly, with the caveat that all the balconies and the features of extendable in length bathing platform are extras, which takes the price from about 1.5 million euros to 2 million plus excluding tax and possible discounts. The Galeon 560 Fly has the port side flip-down balcony as standard.

    But may I repeat an important moral here,, again..

    We have always tried to preach this to option and ship shoppers;
    Who can work on it.
    Can they work on it well.
    Do they want to work on it.

    I have been beating this drum for engine options (MAN mostly), it applies to all Aqua Space options and the Aqua Space Ships themselves.

    So, other than hard to find service, How do you like the boat so far?
    Anything over, better or different from other ships you looked at?
