Do you think the high winds will impact the show very much. Currently have flights and hotel for my wife and I to go for a couple days early in the show.
Wind is your friend at FLIBS. Most of the boats tower above the docks giving attendees a relatively calm experience. It can get hot and stagnate because you’re surrounded by tall objects that block the wind, plus concrete docks that radiate heat.
I doubt any offshore seatrials will be conducted this week with winds out of the NE at 25-30 mph. Seas are expected to be 6-8 feet; better conditions to seatrial a surfboard.
We're running sea trials to interested parties. Should be fun today with 6-8's every 7 seconds with 20+ knots of wind on it.
It was definitely a fun sea trial and showed the capabilities of our boat. There were a few companies running sea trials but a few wouldn't venture outside the breakwater.
