In a follow up to my post above, here's another example of magazines and blogs using YachtForums as a source of information but they don't name the source or provide a back-link. They copied and published the picture we were provided as well. I have since watermarked the image.

SFBs who live in Kansas that have never been on a boat.
    They get paid and breed.

The writer's name is Peter Swanson and he's worked for PMY, Passagemaker and Yachts International, further exemplifying why I prefer to get my information from the real experts on YF. In this instance, the article was written for his blog on motor yachts. I won't be naming the blog.

I don't know why this reminds me of the great Tom Lehrer on research; not the same thing but close --"plagiarize plagiarize, plagiarize remember why the good lord gave you eyes, only please always remember to call it research."------ or something like that.

I was just in Nantucket (Sept 6-8th) right after this unfolded. They did a "welfare" check on the vessel. The Captain was onboard and assisted the DEA and CG supposedly. Vessel is on a mooring ball and was on a mooring ball several days later, they did not seize it. They did arrest the owner. Who is out on bail. The guns part is a joke really, as the news stories are making it out to be like he has this huge stash. It was a S+W 9mm and a .380 pistols that were on board. The drugs yes are true as to the amount. I think it's for personal consumption as the DR in his arrainment photo looks like he's been on a weeks long binge.

I just saw JESS CON listed for $6.95M. The interior seems to have been tidied up!
