Prime 1 done. Small details make some problems but I think ill drill them with a metal brush.
One more sanding and then painting.

Are you 3D printing the whole thing and then painting? Would love to see the files on the completed version.

    Hello
Yes, every single part is printed in 3d. The files are a huge mess. Back when i did model this i was not thinking that one day i might print it out. So i had to cut and combine lots of parts and see how it turned out.
When the priming and filling is done, ill paint it.
My printers details are not so fine so i had to make also some changes to the smallest parts. Also the wood deck seems to be impossible to add. Thats why i'm planning to just paint it in white. Maybe later ill find a better way to do the deck,

Here you can see the work folder. Some did work and some not.
The print are of my creator pro 2 is so tiny that i had to cut in many pieces. It is also very slow so didnt want it render over the night and limited it to max 14 hours.

    The last images before makeup.
    Bottom part primed.
Top part goes to prime and paint.
Still not glued top and bottom. All the rest are in place and glued.

Had to skip the clear parts. Was planning to do from clear plastic sheets but won't.

The scale is too small for my skills and eyes.

It will be a display model so I'll just pain them.

Hope in the next post the beauty will come to life.

    Primed. Needs some more sanding.
    Made some primer droplets.

Next white gloss paint on top and black gloss on hull.

    Hello friends.

There is the beauty. First coat white. Some sanding on the paint and one thin layer of paint. Bottom part will be black. Like the original painting.

Only question is how to do the wood deck. I still think ill skip it.

    Suggestions?

Now she got her pants. Only the top floor black windows missing. Have to cut lots of black plastic sheets and glue.

Decided not to glue top and bottom parts. Easer to maintanence.

    Final, Mega Yacht.

One line Windows painted others have glued black glossy plastic. Still my painting skills are horrible. Hands shaking and eyes in bad condition.

Learned so much with this project.
If I do it once again this time to 1:100 scale it will be 80cm long, then I sure will make many thinks different. Considering doing it one more, not joking.

I call her ready But just trying out printed paper decks. What do you folks think? Will it stick if I glue it over paint and lack spray it Or will I ruin the ship?

One option is sure to keep her floors white.

    Opinions or any experience?

    Hi friends,

Its been very busy here, not in the mini dry dock but at home.

Its been also very difficult to cut the teak decks as the gaps are very tiny. However I think it's OK.

I'll glue it and use varnish spray what people use for paper model.

The I'll call this ready. Moving on to the next projects. Doing scale models is not even my hobby. Printing and 3d modeling is.

Happy yachting people to those who have something to sail with.
