    That's one hell of a place to decide to take the helm for the first time.

    Always love a Nordhavn. Curious what trawlers people like more.

    No yacht-girl, we will not.

    For 20 years we've watched our discussions become the latest articles in various yachting magazines including Boats International, who you work for. NOT ONCE have these publications ever credited YachtForums as their source, yet our discussions have been a massive resource to further the publishing exploits of these magazines.

    Yes, and the vessel was located at Palm Harbor at the time of the post. She's now on the hard for service. I'm just responding, not stalking...

    I paid my dues at marker 22 a I believe it was, on the intercoastal waterway in the vicinity of new River. Scraped keel and a bent prop. ‍♂️‍♂️

    You are not the first one..
    I thought your Dutch boat had a protected prop, like my Albin 28TE?

    I got my first Yacht Captain's job because the owner kept running aground in the Fort Lauderdale area.
    Finally the insurance company demanded he hired a licensed Captain to run the boat: Shortly thereafter an ad in the Waterfront News caught my attention and I was hired to keep the owner and his boat off the reefs and the sandbars.

    While were all crying over our keyboards and confessing;
    As I mentioned in post #37 above, I rose-budded my wheels at Haul-over, northbound, with a hard east wind,,,, at night.
    There is even more to this story, Somebody has to pick up the next round to hear it.

    Norse, I'm shopping for a boat in your hood. Tap on ya soon..

    AND, ya know I have to say it (cause nobody has yet); All boaters have run aground.
    You are either not a real boater or a poor fibber if you say you have not.

    He has a Nordhavn, and should have used the capability to go somewhere it is legal.

    DailyMail needs to have a boater on retainer to fact check. 4 docks may pass spell check but I think they meant 4 decks from their cut and paste of vessel description.
