I have a 1991 Viking 63 motor yacht that has a huge aluminum swim/dingy platform that raises and lowers via an electric motor and two cables. One of the cables has broken and I have no information on the unit what so ever or even begin where to find parts. Has anyone dealt with one of these and could maybe point me in the right direction? Thanks any help would be appreciated!

    Call Viking?

They can probably at least point you to brand/model info.

Not familiar with cable platforms but it’s probably just your basic stainless steel cable which should be available everywhere. Obviously, replace both.

T N T; I believe is a lift manufacture that makes lifts like yours .
There’s a nameplate somewhere on that lift you just have to look all around for an ID tag it’s somewhere on there.

don’t hold your breath with Viking , they’re not gonna call you back.

check’s cleared, warranty is over and Boat is too old to be bothered with.

Viking isn’t going to have any info as it was probably installed after the boat was sold. Also, these vintage Viking MY were not built by Viking but by Lazzara in Tampa for Viking. When Lazzara started building boats under their own name in the mid/late 90s they used TNT. You might give TNT a call although they changed hands a few years ago and may not have info on the old stuff.

Be careful down the Calumet/ Chicago shipping and sanitary canal. Dumb A** will take gun shouts at you as you go under the bridges. I am NOT JOKING.
