    Those 16v2000's don't like endless running at hull speeds like the CATs do. When you run them up, make sure to get them to 80% load (critical) for 30 minutes or so to clean everything up. Babying them on plane doesn't do them any favors. I take care of a set of 2600HP M 96's and the 3rd turbo doesn't even come online until load is around 74%.

    Agreed. Every 90 hours or so I run them at 90% for 30 min, watching $100 bills spilling out the tail pipe.

    Yeah whenever I run at HS I usually finish the day at 1900/1950 for half an hour.

    Sportfish guys aren't so thrifty, they run at 80% all day, every day......unless fishing......... :D
