Any ideas on how to replace this rubber around the two sliding doors on Carver 450? As you can see original sealant around curved glass is crumbling.

Did you ever get any responses from this inquiry? We're interested in replacing ours as well.

Never got any suggestions. What we wound up doing was curing it off clean next to the metal trim. We then taped off about1/2 inch away from metal trim and filled with black caulking. Came out clean and straight and no leaks when sprayed with the hose.

now I need to find the right material to use around the windshields.

I remember an ole SeaRay we were managing. needed new trim fill around the curved wind screen. SeaRay could not provide the trim but gave us the original mfg of the windshield (TaylorMaid) and assembly part number. I called them next. After a few pictures were e-mailed back and forth, their new trim and installation instructions were sent to us. Perfect.

Get with carver (with your HIN) if they can not help directly, ask them for the trim or the assembly part number and who the OEM was and call them.

Capt Ralph, I believe Carver has closed their doors and no longer in business. I also understand Cruiser Yachts is taking over the Carvers / Marquis properties in Wisconsin . Sad day.
