Expanding the search to include any pilothouse MY in the 56-69 LOA range, with non-MAN engines (Cat preferred), preferably with bow seating and the third stateroom with at least one full-sized bed, located in the US.

No, my wife was reluctant to get a boat over 60 and I said OK how about 64 and she said OK. I went to 69 recently since at 64 I may need a 65 ft slip anyway, and a 65 ft slip can often go up to 69 ft. Also a lot depends on how the boat is measured. Sometimes a 69 ft boat can be the same LOA as a 64' boat, since LOA seems to mean diff things to diff people. And I'll convince her to go along if it's the right boat. Still like the Navigator 6200 but having trouple getting one at a reasonable price, so not sure what's going to happen there. Both the 61 and 67 VSC are great alternatives, but the 61s all come with MANs and from what I've read don't have the best engine access.

I've expanded the search just because I know I'm going to have to compromise. For instance, she said she may be OK with bunks, and we toured Marina Del Rey yesterday and saw a lot of Sunseekers and Ferrettis, all (or virtually all) of which have MANs, so I'm even thinking of giving up on that "non-starter". On the bunk issue, a lot of boats have bunks but the lower bunk is a full size, and I'm OK with that.

I like everything about the OAs and would probably get one but for the tiny seating area in the bridge. Even the 62s have a pretty small seating area for when under way. Crazy.

Thanks, I remember. This isn't so much as upgrade as it is a change in how I'm boating. The M43 was too big for the day trips to Catalina, so went 50-50 with a friend on a smaller fishing boat with outboards and getting a weekend condo for hanging out.

I think it's Covid more than the stock market, but yeah it's kind of nuts right now. Assessing whether to wait Covid out and see what happens.

Just sold a 43 SF, want something bigger with large FB with 3 staterooms but not something that requires more than a 65' slip.
