    Has anyone had any experience using the Princess “Reconditioning Services” in the U.S. that they tout so highly on their web site? I’m having trouble getting them to respond to my inquiries about work we will need done on a used Princess we are on the verge of buying.

    Haven't used them but I think you can count on quality work. That 's Viking Yachting Center.

    Btw, Jersey's been hit hard with Covid. There's a good chance they're working with short staff or even closing if they have outbreaks. But call Viking.

    Thanks. Appreciate your responses. I am dealing with their Riviera Beach, FL facility, which is what the rep in their New Gretna, NJ facility suggested. If anyone has actually used them, would appreciate knowing how your experience was, in particular their responsiveness.

    I've dealt with the Riviera Beach facility regarding warranty repair on a few new Princess' over the past 5 years. They've always been very good to deal with in my experiences, both in communication, quality of work and vendors, and timeframe.

    Strongest thing going for Princess in the US is the facilities. I've heard people say "We know it will have a lot of problems initially, but they'll all be fixed right at Viking."

    My 65 Searay just spent a month at the VIKING yard in Riveria Beach and they were very helpful and did a fine job on the hull repair that needed to be done.. nothing to do with Princess but the Viking yard was great and the boat was surrounded by Vikings and Princess yachts .. I figured that was good for my boat...

    I was told the other day by a Capt on a new Princess that they are now doing all warranty work at a company they own in LMC in Fort Lauderdale. I forgot the name of the company.

    The Riviera Beach guy never responded so I called the New Gretna guy back. He said they do much of the Princess factory work in that area with a firm called Aquamare near Fort Lauderdale. They apparently have many former Princess factory people, and they have been very responsive.

    Aquamare is located in Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale. Princess owns them and is now doing their warranty work there.
