We have been on the search for 2 years for a Cabo with Cats 43-48 they are very hard to find and when one comes up they are all high$ which is to be expected from a sought after hull no longer produced. The current 48 with C-18’s was listed at 799 then went to 850 so that guy has plenty of negotiating room. That boat was 1.2 rigged out new in 07’ shows how well the original Cabo holds value. Replacement cost on that 48 is probably around 3 mill for a comparable boat in today’s market.

there are some 45's on the market now...and i may end up with one if a 52 doesn't surface. Like to have one sitting in the OCMD slip by the end of April

I'd rather have a newer 44' HTX with less hours than a 52' for the same money. The 52' was a very good riding boat, and all areas were bigger, but not usable bigger.....bigger salon.....bigger helm area.....slightly longer cockpit......but none of it really usable or adds anything to the use.....i'd also venture to say the 44' HTX rides just as good as the 52'. It would've been nice if they figured a way to add another stateroom to the 52' or simply made the 2nd stateroom larger.......

The MAN boats rode better and performed better. The C32's were about 4500 lbs heavier and upsetted the balance of that boat and they were NOISY at the helm. You made the right choice.

We got our 43FB about 2 years ago as well, very pleased with the MAN CR900's in that boat. We came from an older hatteras with Detroits so a big step up.
