Cool, then I know where to find you.
I almost bought a dock there last year, a guy owns 2 docks and was selling one.
I got a a condo in the B building, but it is mostly used for Wifey’s art studio.

Since it's evidently become a permanent resident or a tourist sight for the Jungle Queen maybe someone should plant flowers on it. Meanwhile I see 3 pieces of equipment right there capable of picking it up and dropping it in a dumpster. Shame on the city.

A new dock/condo complex is going in where Summerfield Marina use to be.
They have been planning it for 10-15 years, probably with a few bankruptcies in there as well.
Lots of heavy equipment to lift the wreckage, but probably sitting on the bottom and could disintegrate due to all compartments full of water.
Somebody should remove it, owner, insurance company, city, county, whatever..

So they'll leave it to disintegrate in the water on its own. Like I said, Shame on the city. Up here if your lawn grows too high the town comes by and mows it. The most expensive lawn mowing you'll ever have. Then again in Florida it's much harder to collect a debt. Still you'd think the city wouldn't want that kind of advertising.

Cruised by today as well, looks like the wreck shifted on the high tide, no dock lines, no nothing.

    Your tax money at work..
Rather a good case for mandatory liability insurance.
Too many scumbags leave their trash in our waterways.
I am all for freedom, live and let live, etc, but the hippies, druggies, aresholes whatever don’t clean up after themselves.
(I was also a young sailboat owner some 35 years ago but I kept a clean wake, what we see now after an accident or a storm is crazy: Boat sank, move to another state and let the locals clean up your mess.)

Some cities have pieces of the World Trade Center as monuments. You've got that.
Anybody think about getting the numbers off the boat and shaming the owner to get rid of it or even publicly shaming the city officials?

Spill just one drop of diesel and see how quickly authorities react. The fact that this is still in the water is despicable.

I must admit that this thread is making me proud of my poor old Country.
By this rate, that thing might remain a part of the landscape for longer than it took us to refloat and scrap the Costa Concordia...! :D

Aye, good try but there is nothing about the Costa Concordia to be proud of, but of course your were joking, or fishing..
