I was just waiting to see who would recognize this. The window shape does not fit anywhere on Eclipse. Also the décor isn't right... Eclipse is designed in and out by Disdale and definitely not their styling especially at the time when she was designed.

I picked up this picture from a site showing it as interior pictures of Eclipse. I should have rechecked it more carefully before posting it.

But it is great to see, that mistakes like this are caught immediately by the esteemed members of this great forum.

Sorry again, I vow to get well soon gentlemen.

Eclipse was featured in the April 2016 edition of a famous yachting magazine. It has the "typical" Disdale beach-style interior.

But returning to the topic, I'm really curious to see Solaris exterior design - it's rumoured to have been penned by Marc Newson.

Likely not until 2021. They need to dredge the area to be able to launch her.

Thats very interesting, is it being built at a different site than their other launches? What is the reason for this?

I believe it’s just she had a deep draft and they needed to dredge regardless for these types of projects.

The scaffolding is starting to come off. She has some massive bridge wings.

Yep... what I find interesting are the bow thrusters....mounted inside the tunnel on a ring instead of common shaft etc.

Some clever photoshopping skills has taken the separate blocks and brought them together giving you an idea of what the whole vessel looks like overall. Of course Project Solaris is all painted and soon ready to be launched at this stage.
