   Ended up getting a divorce, left the islands, ex-wife sold the boat.
   Long story short: It got damaged in hurricane Hugo, then it sank in a storm some years later. Not sure what happened, tried to find out, but no records.
   The name was Katingo, a Bill Tripp Bermuda Racer Yawl.

   Very nice boat. You were lucky to keep up with the history after it was sold .
   Well IMO nothing rides better that a solid heavy wood boat also nice and quiet at the dock , but the up keep is a killer for sure.

   Yeah, upkeep was a bi..., but I was in my late 20s then and had boundless energy. (It has all gone away now )
