    Seems to be mostly wood .
    Not quite a Riva....Right OB ?

    Nice looking boat, but are you sure that's wood. Lens is a little dirty but it looks like a wood pattern retro build.

    A bit of a long distance photo but I’m quite sure it wood.

    oh by the way Edelbrock carburetor is running great....I’ll send you a Picture or two and a better update.

    Yup ...
    Oakum , packing cotton , seam filler #30, slick seam ...remember that stuff.
    I was still using it only a few years ago.
    Finally I went fiberglass.
    Still love wood .

    Don't forget painting and varnishing and dumping sawdust in the water before putting her in.

    I'm not at all knowledgeable on classic boats. The hull looks very Riva like, but I don't recall ever seeing a Riva with that windshield, always curved.

    It’s a new build , I’m almost sure.
    Markie is on the aft quarter hull but could not read it. It’s NOT a riva .
    I don’t like the bow sloping down.
    Elco had the same design , at the end of production on there boats .
    Not a new look, for some of us ! Lol.

    I owned a wooden boat for 3 years in the Caribbean, never again.:confused:
    Nice to look at, nice personality, nice everything except ownership.
    Ticking time-bomb with a 15 year life expectancy in the tropics, but nobody told me that when I bought the 30 year old boat.
    Had a blast though, (ignorance is a bliss)

    Based on the sweeping lines to the transom I'm betting it's a fiberglass retro.

    That and the lines of the roof were my keys to that also, but Cleanslate seems sure it's wood.

    No way, I am almost certain it's fiberglass and most likely has a vinyl wrap on the hull. Look at how the swim platform is a molded part of the hull, you wouldn't see that with wood.

    Sitting under the hard top, you will be glad the bow slopes down,, so you can see ahead at cruising speed.
    May not slope down enough.

    Perhaps wood over fiberglass?
    Or
    Lots of West System over wood ? 407?
    Or what ever.
    But it was wood .
    Like a clear coat Huckins...so to speak .

    Good Eye. The Rivelle series looks like it. I had a feeling you'd come up with it. Guess that answers the question of whether it's wood. Beautiful workmanship.

    That’s it ! Uh never question a 10 year Matthews owner....I know wood. Lol!
    And parents 50’ Matthews, 22’ 1967 Chris Craft cutlass and 1971 55’ Pacemaker all of I had the joy to work on and maintain.

    away now we are stuck here in Lewes Delaware/ Harbor of refuge, tried to make it back across Delaware Bay to Cape May , no go...bad sea for me and my old Ocean sun liner opposing wind and tide...

    Blame that dirty lens and the workmanship looking almost too nice to be real. lol. Here's hoping the owners have the skill or where-with-all to keep up with it.
    Delaware Bay can get real nasty. Tried to go down it in a 6' chop from the east one day quickly went back to Delaware City. Good hero shop there.:) Went the next day in soup with my chart on my knee (pre GPS). Came out of the fog right in front of the Cape May Canal and was pretty happy with myself.
