I searched the show site but could not locate a total list of brokerage/used boats. YATCO has been producing boats on display lists for years. Probably not 100% accurate but still less than 100 boats. Can that be correct? My spread sheet will not upload. try www.yatco.com
I don't see what you're talking about on Yatco, but I'm sure any list they would have is picked up from FLIBS site. FLIBS has a list of those exhibiting but not the specific boats. Here's a product list with a filter. https://www.boatshowmarketplace.com/search/products?f[0]=im_field_category_ref:31321 It shows 727 boats. I doubt seriously it's accurate.
But then it has filter by new and shows only 38 new. So a lot of mixed signals. And boats by category has 51 I/O, 91 Inboard and 92 Outboard so that's 234. But photos tie to the 332. Looks to me like a typical local small boat show.
Once a dealer/broker is registered to display YATCO sends them a link to add their boats at no charge. Then YATCO prints a book as well as promotes the boats/broker on their site. 100 boats. The YATCO book from Palm Beach 2019 was very accurate other than the late entries.
So YATCO's book came out this morning with an unusually long list of boats on display. Reading the cover page more carefully the list is all brokerage boats in Ft Lauderdale not the boat show. RJC has no mention of their typical display at Pier 66
Yes, hotel closed, small part of hotel knocked down......restaurants closed.......marina is intact and the same as is the marina parking lot......nothing else is.
The Pelican Grille at the fuel dock was open last time I stopped by. Yes marina is operational and busy.
Pelican Grill is closed until further notice. They couldn't justify keeping it open during this pandemic. Reducing the number of tables in an already small venue doesn't pay. The marina (north) is fully open and operational. I have seen yachts at the south marina but unsure if fully opened. That will be a nice property when done. The hotel is fully gutted and they are waiting for permits and covid to simmer down before continuing construction. If you need to go to the marine, use the entrance by the restaurant, since there's no access via the front of the hotel.
