I have been looking for a ‘04-‘07 46 SS manual. No joy so far. Suspect a 50 SS Manual would just as useful. Not sure whether it was printed, CD or only provided by request. Have you learned anything?

No luck yet. Continue to look and am being vary wary of sites who claim to have manuals.

I don’t think one was ever made and if it was not sure if it offered any real valuable information....
I don’t think they exist in my opinion.
Not on the older oceans perhaps on the newer ones.

I was hoping for a wiring diagram to help try to solve a weird starting issue.

When I start the port engine everything is fine. When I start the starboard engine all my 12v bridge electronics reset.

My suspicion is that the batteries are being paralleled to start.

I am going to to bite the bullet and spend a few hours tracing all the battery wires. Or start a new thread.

It may be that your starting current is sucking the voltage down to below the threshold voltage of the electronics.
That may indicate you have a low battery , bad cell, bad connection.
Load test the batteries and check your terminations.

Yes , start with the battery terminals themselves and the wires and cables going to them give them a good cleaning and check the wires how they connect to the connectors for the battery they can break down from over the years of lots of starts and what not and surges of current along with corrosion it can cause a weak point.

If you're batteries are older than 2.5 years it's probably the battery. BUT YES, Ocean parallels both battery banks to make 24 volts out of 12 volts on most of their boats.

I have been looking for two years. The only thing I can do is copy whatever drawings or schematics are posted here.

PamSails, I’m trying to find the y valve that directs the heads to the aft or forward holding tank. Trying to learn all i can about this new boat and peeking in all/any access hatches. Any thoughts on location?

My boat does not have holding tanks. The plumbing for the fore head LectraSan is in the bilge directly in line from the center of the bed to the passage way to the dining galley. The plumbing for the aft head LectraSan is in two places, one in the bilge with the aft shower bilge pump and aft bilge pump, with the line from the commode to the LectraSan under the flooring to under the aft bed.
