Now all you have to do is avoid the green buoys.

With such an abstract design, the sheer line on that Benetti lends itself to contrasting pigment. The accenting hardtop supports are a nice touch too. I like it!

It's a Benetti??? The red buried it and was not looking as a pro.

I think we can all agree that taste is subjective and it varies among people, no matter their origin. I see yachts as functional, engineered works of art. Maybe it's time to splash some color on these big blank canvases? While the Benetti in question might not suit everyone's palette, at least it doesn't look like a shoot-out at the Hawaiian fruit market... :D

Anyone remember "Joy Me"? Not sure everyone takes joy in this, but beauty is in the eye...

Given the jaggedy sheerline, cacophony of clashing window shapes, clutter of clunky guard rails forward, and random, chaotic application of accent stripes, there is no paint color that would make that red Bennetti handsome or graceful.

I do like this paint/color scheme better.
More to it, busy and going somewhere is what I see.

Wow, lots of comments and opinions on a red hull..
(As an Ex Fire Fighter, I am all for it, lived with the red trucks for a while:cool:)

I cruise by this red yacht several times a week with different groups of people, and every one of the pax or friends/neighbors on my boats always go “WOW, just Wow, Looook at that boat. “
If the intention was to draw attention, the owner succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. :D
I like it, bold without being vulgar, although I can see several members disagree.

    Back to the beginning:
Shoot a fresh picture this afternoon but with the sun in my face it turned out less than perfect.
Bright red boat however. Love it.❤️

I like the red hull, but it may be the worst color for fading and chalking. A friend of mine had a red Burger, and repainted her blue. He said red made blue seem maintenance free.

Yes there is something about red paint - hard to work with and gets chalky too. I don't mind the paint job at all though. It's the lines of the rig I don't care for. I think Benetti goes out of their way to make ugly boats.

This is candy apple red, maybe even metallic. Probably a b.... to fix a scratch or worse.
Curious what how much more it was to paint it red rather then the stock white or off-white?

As I was told back when the boat was built, the owner specifically asked a perfect match with Ferrari red.
I'm not sure about how close the final result eventually was, though.

    Indeed it does look close.
In my previous post I said I'm not sure about it just because it's difficult to judge from pics alone.
But if this was the owner request, it wasn't rocket science for Benetti to comply...!

I think the Ferrari color is correct, there is just so much of it.
