    Called YOT. (Cute)
    https://www.yotlmc.com/

In the LMC complex: Went for a boat ride to visit a bud on the River: Sorry, not home mate, but across from me is this new place called YOT..Huh?
Pulled in, found an empty dock, tied up.
(Crowded because of the Boat Show, everybody and his grandmother had to leave Bahia Mar Marina)

Had a few drinks, met nice people. Good looking menu, but did not eat this time.
    Friendly staff..
Leaving the place, the Dock master said he expected a big boat this evening and my dock was not part of the YOT. (The bar staff said I was fine, all good)
Moral of the story: YOT has no dockage for visiting boats,, so far, but they are working on it.
Will come by car or truck next time, only 5 minutes from my house/dock.

Did I read this correctly. Pulled into the dock. Went to the Bar. Had a few drinks. Resumed operating boat. Just curious, how many drinks is a few? Three, Four, Five, Six?

Wow Mr. Olderboater: Are you babysitting everybody on the Yachtforums, or just me?
I have enjoyed our conversations over the years and your advise behind the curtains on accounting, business, etc, thx.
As for drinks at this new bar in my neighborhood: Did I say alcoholic drinks?

Do I need somebody to jump up and analyze my postings to make sure I don’t drink and drive?

No, I don’t and you need a hobby, go somewhere else trying to babysit adults:
    Really..:(

This has been under construction for some time now (over a year) and had a soft opening months ago for the vessels and crew @ LMC but I don't think the original concept of this crew bar and restaurant was to seek out the general public but rather more of a burger and beer joint for crew with vessels in the yard like the set up in Rybovich. I don't believe this has morphed into a public dining place as of yet but maybe their intention is to expand clientele down the road but I don't know how the yard would secure millions of dollars worth of yachts and equipment around the general public plus the liability issues of greenies running around a working shipyard impaired from spirits & chicken wings.

They opened this joint a few days ago and it seems to be more than a burger and beer joint for yard workers and boat crew.
The menu looked pretty tasty, lobster and such goodies. The staff assured me it is gourmet food. (I am picky and too old to eat junk)
Will go back in a day or two and sample the menu. Full report coming.

If you are saying they were not alcoholic, then I apologize, but generally when one words it as you did, they are alcoholic and I do find the frequency with which people in general take their boat to bars or restaurants, drink while there, then jump back into the boat a problem. I asked the question and gave you the opportunity to respond and correct any erroneous assumption or misconception from your initial post.

And, yes, anytime anyone writes that they pulled up to a bar, went in and had a few drinks, returned to operating their boat, I will ask.

It'll be interesting to see if YOT is indeed open to the general public and not just crew and subs in the yard. M.Y. Café in Rybovich opened to the general public two yrs. ago due to its location going commercial and soon going to be part of 75,000 sq. ft of retail commercial space on the ground floor of one of the four condo mix use towers going up. I see more huge concrete pilings being stacked up on the north side of the Huizinga / Related Properties land ready for the pile drivers and footings. Hate to see Rybo south go as the North yard is very small in comparison.

Should be a hit then. Sit amongst the mega yachts while having a night out for dinner and libations. Its been a few months since I was last in LMC so they must have put in a private entrance and parking for this venture as I cant see the security gate screening YOT patrons & yacht crew returning to their vessels after a night out.
