Good video, captured the whole episode. Couldn't help but notice how nice that Westport design looks. Be interesting to hear what caused that accident. Glad there were no injuries.

Yep, they quietly can'd the kid who leaned on the controls.

Still, I'd have a tow out of a small harbor to open water to test. Tow boats were on site.

Looks like only thrusters used, engines off.

I'm just speculating. But it looks like someone may have hit the controls and knocked them into full throttle forward. I can tell you this much, other than that scenario, I sure as hell wouldn't be backing it back up to the fuel dock under it's own power until someone from the engine controls company came out and went through everything.

After running up and over / cutting a concrete floating dock in half and bouncing through a couple of sailboats, I would think that all of the "afraid of cored hull" concerns should be alleviated just a tad. Minimal damage and looks like no punctures or coring exposed. Coosa board becomes tough stuff once infused with resin .

After watching the video showing damage in the yard you would expect to see more hull damage. It was not a low speed collision. Speaks well of Westport build quality.

Did anybody actually watch the 25’ Video? Anything worth watching? The security footage is the only thing worth watching.

The video has good shots of the 125 after it was hauled out.

I wonder if the fact that they used reverse thrust means they know what went wrong. Like a inadvertent throttle movement as has been previously alluded to.

An unfortunate incident proves Wesport's excellent build quality.
