Like the name, not sure I would want the recent legacy associated with it, good time for a brand reset......

I argued that point with some of the new team. They love the styling and design but have, I believe, been shocked by the number of disgruntled former clients and their disgruntled acquaintances. Bad news travels so much faster than good. There are happy customers still pushing and defending but their boats were built 15-20 years ago and many ownerships ago, in different facilities, by different people. You can't capitalize on the long 15-20 year legacy without having to face the history of the last 15 years.

Even had I wanted to build a similar boat, I never would have used the name. I feel like that was burying one's face in the sand.

I checked the site, and the "Northern Marine 70 Expedition Yacht" proposed under "Current Offerings" looks very much like a Nordhavn 72, even the color scheme of the image...

Similar, kind of like a Ford F-150 and a Chevy S-1500.

No, more like a drawing of a boat vs a real one.
