Arrived yesterday to the town of Sami on the island of Kefalonia in the Ionian Sea. Great weather and nature when compared to the rocky and windy islands of the Aegean Sea.

Was busy with a few of my guests the last few days, plus a high pressure hydraulic hose on my port PTO blew a rubber bonded sealing washer and it was quite a challenge to find a replacement sealing washer on a small Greek island. Eventually found one with a mechanic working for one of the island's ferries. I guess in the future, I will keep a small kit of bonded sealing washers onboard the yacht. I never had to replace one on any of my boats in the last 15 years.

Visited the village and port of Vathy on the island of Ithaca. Each island in the Ionian Sea has a different character but the Ionian islands are certainly a boating paradise.
