Got a meeting in the morning with an Owner. He has a little 42' and a big bugger. I really think he needs a crewman on the new one, he and his wife are at the struggle point.

    Input?

Which is the new one? What is the size of the big bugger?

If they're at the struggle point, they need crew. What are they struggling with?

Now, we have more crew than we need for even our largest boat and they rotate onto smaller boats when we use them. They take care of all. We do not assign crew specifically to one boat. If we were chartering we would do so. However, we are only on one boat at a time meaning the boats we're not on don't need a full crew at that time.

Our largest boat needs a crew of 7, although we often use 8. We employ a total of 11, two of whom never leave home.
