Pre manufactured, it would have made for an exciting day in the shipyard otherwise! look up noble clad or triclad etc. been around do a long time but some Italian builders took longer to find / use than their Northern European brethren in their builds

Suspension of payments was granted in early July, if both hull and Van Noorloos built superstructure were at the yard in Den Bosch at that time....both suppliers hopefully have been paid?
If not, and suppose the hull is somewhere else, could it be completed by a different yard?

An article was published yesterday concerning Moonen's bankruptcy and the path out i.e., who's handling the receivership etc and the article had this photo of the second hull in progress in their building hall. From the looks of it the build has progressed a great deal to the point of shell doors in place and primary fairing of the topsides and superstructure completed.

Good news is that it's indoors and somewhat protected so while sitting unattended might not deteriorate too much. Concern would be vandals and thieves. Hopefully security is still there.

Its been reported that Moonen has been purchased by an Australian couple, Matthew and Louise Baxter. Mr. Baxter is CEO of the manufacturing company "AM Group" that manufactures metal doors of various types for the trucking industry. Moonen has stated that they will begin two new spec builds in the coming months of 36 meters and 43 meters respectively. Not being a glass half full type but something tells me that one of these "spec" builds will be Mr. Baxter's and will be delivered at cost to him. Disappointing that an investment group with ship / yacht building experience couldn't have been found for Moonen.

I share your concerns and offer another. Matthew Baxter is an older man. I'm guessing mid-70's. I wonder about a succession plan.
