   Hi all. My Charles 5000 series 80 amps just died. Can I replace for a modern one or can I repair the old one ? Is safe to replace for the batteries replace it ?

   I wouldn’t bother repair a 16 year old charger.
   
   Why would it not be safe for the batteries to replace the charger? As long as you set the new one to the correct battery type, no issues
