The outboard concept is my old Downeaster/Picnic boat but with triple Seven Marine 627’s.
This is a 42 ft. Epoxy Mahogany design with a modern stepped hull.

Thank you! I have to admit, it gives me a special joy designing wooden boats.

57 ft. Sportfish with triple IPS 800. Nothing avant-garde just my take on the concept.

    Mike,

The diversity of your designs is unmatched by any stylist I've seen (with the possible exception of Lars Modin). I'm planning to include your latest collection in a member mailer over the summer. I've spent the past 4 months systematically purging bounced email addresses from our database, which spans nearly 17 years now. Of our 55,000+ members, we have approx. 40,000 verified email addresses now. Let's see if we can get you a contract! :)

    Best!

    Carl

I like the one with the reverse bow on the left hand side. Do you have her on a picture with the whole rig visible?

The reverse bow design is a 59 m catamaran with a wing sail. More to come.

I know of at least two stylists that have earned business from showing their work on YF. Sabdes Yacht Design penned most of the Bering designs. One other notable name earned business here, but renders were removed by the yacht owner's request.

We included Mike's work in a mailer 7-8 years ago but the economy is very different now. Let's hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

Of course we wish him the best.
I was just concerned in showing all his hands.
    Best always.

I appreciate your concern. I guess there is a delicate balance in what to show and not and at the same time attract interest.

    Thank you!
Yes, the Explorer trio has got some attention and the funny thing is that none of the designs did get that much recognition on their own.
