Nothing in the big boat category at the moment but a 55 ft. sail concept with a retractable hydrofoil and canting keel together with a slight alteration to the previous 28 ft. mahogany concept, this time with a touch of down Easter look.

I was aiming for a design with some of the hull characteristics of a modern race hull with a very wide stern in combination with a more traditional deck. I guess the transom appears a little cut-off in the side view, perhaps this illustration put things in a different perspective?

With a timeless design, the Gatsby 65 is a gentleman yacht of our time.

Hey wwch! Yes, I might have some concepts in the pipe ;-)

At 220 meter/722 ft. this concept would be the largest yacht in the world both in length and displacement if ever built.

With a beam of 28 meter/92 ft. and 9 decks, it’s easy to understand that you will not have any problems in deciding what, tenders, toys, cars, helicopters or friends to leave on the dock – just bring them all! One issue though, should you put your 80 ft. tender in a garage under the foredeck or use a Drive-in tender bay?

On deck 9 you will find a 200 m2 "crow’s nest" with a 360 degree view and surrounding deck. Perhaps the ultimate owner’s deck or a sky lounge with the best seats in the house? Below the crow’s nest you can land on the LY3/MCA-certified helideck but you can also store your friend’s helicopter next to yours, safely in the enclosed hangar.

Helicopters are practical but what makes this concept a bit different is the possibility to bring along a turbine powered 10-seater seaplane for some interesting island hopping. The mandatory sub goes without saying and there is even a hot air balloon on the options list.

I don’t have anything on the sail side at the moment but one of my old Yacht concepts have just been through a ‘refit’, now measuring in at 90 meter with some new color. As this thread is getting quite old, I will start a new thread with some refits as well as some new concepts.
